In my last post I described my impressions of Berlin as a city. One of the greatest (size wise) marks left on the city after the last century was the Berlin Wall. With its demise came the end of the Cold War, as well as an end to Germany’s long suffering.
On the outskirts of Berlin you can see parts of the wall that have been left untouched, and you can marvel at the beautiful and meaningful artwork on what was, for many years, a daunting wall of division. I was so amazed by the artwork that I decided it deserved a post of its own.
I hope whoever is reading this will also appreciate trying to decipher these emboldening messages.
